Most of you consider positive emotions once we consider the phrase love. Once we allow ourselves to love someone or something it brings emotions of passion and joy which are only felt when love is section of it. The power love brings is powerful. So just why whenever we add the word self to the leading of the word love and create the term self-love do we begin to hesitate and question if it is okay to possess self-love. You give it to yourself. Like the phrase love, self-love is just a powerful word. However, whenever you look it up in dictionaries you can't even find a consistent definition. Some dictionaries possess a positive spin to it and some add a very negative definition. Like, one dictionary only had the negative definition indicating that self-love was conceited and vain; whereas another dictionary described it as something to the effectation of having unconditional love for yourself in regard to your own personal happiness.

It's no wonder we all have different opinions about the word self-love. Think of someone that you know that only talks about themselves with little regard to others or someone that is always speaking about how great they are. Often they are trying to fill themselves up with others approval and love because they have almost no self-love. Self-love is something you think to be vital to increasing our personal happiness. You like the proven fact that self-love is love of self in regards to our own happiness. Once we have self-love we allow self-worth. You imagine that self-love is respecting yourself, taking responsibility for the actions, it is acceptance, and it is unconditional. Self-love is forgiving once we produce a mistake. Self-love is recognizing we made an error and it is taking action to understand from our mistakes. Self-love is kind and positive. Self-love doesn't always come easy. It often takes work internally to simply help create more acceptance and passion for yourself but if you do the job you will probably be living a happier life and who doesn't want to be happy. Many people are suggesting for you to be conceited, vain or let your ego run wild, but you're alsosuggesting taking a review of yourself and deciding you're worth loving.

Many individuals are suggesting, deciding that you deserve to believe kind thoughts of yourself, for you yourself to think and know you are good enough. Whenever you accept yourself and love yourself you really do have more love to offer others and you are able to receive more love from others. Allow the energy of want to envelope you and decide that you will take one step towards loving yourself more today than you did yesterday. Maybe you determine to accept and love the body and consequently you begin to feed it healthier and more nourishing foods so it can be its optimum best. Maybe you determine to forgive yourself for a previous mistake you made and rather than beating yourself up inside you truly observe the lesson you learned so you don't take action again. Maybe you decide to make a move you enjoy doing because you've always put yourself last and deprived yourself for way too long.
